[18] pp26. The Heber copy of Amos Strettell's undated 1820 type facsimile of the 1632 edition inscribed on the first blank 'To Richard Heber Esqre with Mr Strettell's Compliments.' One of 27 copies of this reprint, the only example in auction records was consigned by Henry Huntington in 1917, also inscribed by Strettell - to Lord Selsey. Octavo format, bound in quarter black goatskin over red paper covered boards; gilt lettering to spine, scuffing to boards. Old printed bookseller description tipped onto verso of first blank: 'Priced in the Bibliotheca Anglo Poetica £15 15s, and sold at Midgley's sale for £12 2s 6d.' A couple of brown spots to the text and slight offsetting from the pretty engraved headpieces; a little soiling to the title page. A few almost imperceptible marginal lines in red crayon. A very scarce book which with 2 British institutional copies; 4 USA, 2 in Canada and 3 elsewhere. See Schmnitz, The Fall of Women in Early English Narrative Verse.
