ff 56 Olaf Pooley's script for an unrealised Sebastian Film Productions TV adaptation of The King's General, produced by Gabrielle Beaumont. Laid into the card bound script is a long letter (7 sides) on Sebastian Film Productions notepaper addressed to Daphne Du Maurier. Olaf Pooley discusses breaking down the novel into seven episodes and the difficulties involved, especially truncating the illness of General Richard Grenville until his imprisonment at St Michael's Mount. Pooley also writes that he is about to embark on a screenplay of Du Maurier's story "Not After Midnight" and says how much he would like to visit to discuss the work.
