The Le Carre Omnibus: comprising Call for the Dead

[8] pp 9-288 The First Edition of Gollancz's omnibus edition of Le Carre's first two novels, published in 1964 to cash in on the success of The Spy Who Came in From the Cold. Bound in red cloth the text is clean and complete with bright boards that show very slight discolouration in places. The jacket is complete, with a closed tear to the bottom half inch of the DJ hinge between front panel and front flap. The yellow of the jacket is slightly dusty but otherwise Very Good. This copy of these two superb novels comes from a collection formed in the 1960s and has not been offered for sale since it was acquired new.
