Bill Badger's Winter Cruise

[6] [1] pp 2-119 [120] The First Edition of this uncommon BB title with an interesting association with the Churchill family. The book was owned by Winston Churchill's grandson, Jeremy Soames, with his ownership inscription on the front free endpaper: 'J.B.Soames May 1960'. Below is his mother's monogammed penny sized ink stamp: 'M.S.' Mary Spencer Churchill was accustomed to mark her books with this after becoming Mary Soames on her marriage to Christopher Soames. The book is in its original yellow boards with blue spine lettering and design to the front cover. There is a little spine lean and some fading to the spine. The book's edges are dusty. Internally the book is clean and complete with all BB's illustrations present.
